Our Vision... Healing mind, body, and spirit with integrative equine assisted therapies (EAA/T) interventions. Positive and reciprocal impact on human and animal lives through various ethical modalities.

What is EAA/T?

Equine-assisted activities/therapies (EAA/T) is a comprehensive term for equine activities and therapies designed for people with disabilities and/or diverse needs.

Some examples of EAA/T include: Therapeutic Riding, Equine Facilitated Learning, Therapeutic Driving, Vocational Rehabilitation, Hippotherapy and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy.

Who participates in EAA/T programs?

EAA/T programs are designed for people of all ages with cognitive, physical, emotional and social challenges or disabilities. Those challenges can include daily stresses, life changing events, or short-term situational challenges.

We believe animals play a critical role in helping people live healthy lives. Animal-assisted therapy, activities, and learning demonstrate how the human-animal bond can bring about deep and lasting social, emotional, cognitive, physical, spiritual and psychological changes.

Animals Assisted Activities/Therapy takes many of the same activities involved with EAA/T, but incorporates the interaction of different species to facilitate these process. While the horse in itself has many healing and natural magnetism elements, not all clients gravitate to the horse. For this reason, our program offers other animals which we can carefully match to fit the client's particular needs.
